Are You A Horse Reader?

December 22, 2007 By: 36 Special Category: Motorcycle Videos No Comments →

I have been Reading The Horse BSC since I ran across a copy while in Iraq in 2003. What a great magazine. They don’t have all of the trailer queens in there, just a whole lot of stuff that you could build in your own garage (if you have the skills). If you want to subscribe just click on the following link. It will take you to Amazon.com where you can pick up a subscription fairly cheap.

Northeast Motorcycle Expo

December 20, 2007 By: 36 Special Category: Motorcycle News No Comments →

Just a little post to highlight the Northeast Motorcycle expo. How does a ride from Tennessee to Connecticut sound in January? I wish, it may be cold but man the ride would be great if you could keep kind of warm. Check out the article on the expo. Also I need some feedback on these article that I publish every now and then. How do yall like them? Would you rather me just put a link and a small paragraph from the article or do you like it just the way it is? Tell me about it in the comments.

Biker Video

Really this is just a slide show video of some real cool bikes and a whole lot of women. A little warning though, there is some nudity in this one. I am sure the YouTube sensors will catch up to it soon. Enjoy!

Hell Ride

December 18, 2007 By: 36 Special Category: Motorcycle Videos No Comments →

I have been watching a few Quentin Tarantino movies here lately and while browsing around the internet I ran across this new movie that he is doing “Hell Ride”. It looks like it is going to be a great throwback to ’70s biker flics. It has a host of great actors like Michael Madsen and Dennis Hopper. I haven’t seen a good motorcycle flic in a while so it will be nice when this one comes out. From some of the pictures that I have seen they have some pretty sweet rides in there also. Not a whole lot of trailer queens, all of the bikes look like they have been rode a fair amount.hellride-firstlook-02.jpg I guess I am going to have to go and dig into my movies and find a good biker movie to tide me over until this one comes out. Here is a list of a few that you can pick up and watch now;
Easy Rider
Wild Hogs
Ghost Rider
Mad Max
The Wild One
Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man
Bikers From Hell, Triple Feature: Run Angel Run/Hell’s Angels 69/Hell’s Bloody Devils
Do you have any good motorcycle movies that you like? Tell me about them, either in my comments or head on over to the forums and talk about them there. Do you want to read more about the movie? I got the info and the picture from First Look.

One Year of Open Road Biker

December 15, 2007 By: 36 Special Category: Uncategorized No Comments →

Well the site has been up for one year as of about a week ago. It is not a real popular site but I do have a few regular visitors and I really appreciate you (you know who you are). I am still working on trying to provide you with regular articles and I hope the coming year will be much better. I want this site to be a great resource for all of the people out there who love to ride. I also need you to help make this a great community of riders, head on over to the forums and join and start topics and talk to each other, ask questions, and spread the word. There is also a place to upload all of your photos.

This year I had one contest and while it didn’t have many people join I am sure it will show a few people with a whole lot of miles. I may do another at the beginning of next year but I am going to have to pay the bills for this years contest first. That is another reason I need you to tell others about the site, the more visitors that I can get on here, the better I can make the site for you.

Last year at this time I had thought up what I thought would be a good name for a website. I had no idea how to build a website or even get started. I had a few guys who helped me out with a lot of information and technical help. The first guy was Dave over at 3D addiCt, he was a very big help from schooling me on hosting, where to get my domain name, to helping get the site up and running. He spent probably 48 or more man hours helping me with the site all for free. If you need help with graphics or websites head on over and hit him up. I am sure he will be affordable and do a great job.

The other guys that helped me out were Crash and ItsLasher over at BlazingPC. They both gave me great advice on the site, products to use, and just a lot of general setup stuff. If you need help with your computer or tech stuff just head on over there and ask them a question in the forums. I am sure they will welcome you.

One more guy that I would like to mention is a guy the call formed. He is a Marine that designed some of the graphics for the site. While they weren’t free they were cheap and he did a great job.

I also want to mention all of the guys and gals from SHAPE HDC, you will always be my brothers and sisters and I can’t wait to ride with you all again.

I just want to thank those guys and all of you that visit the site, without you this site would not be around or would have cost me a whole lot more than it did. I have probably spent a thousand hours this year working on the site, and while I will not be able to put as much time in this year (deployment coming up) it will be a better site.
