It is that time of the year when everyone including bikers tend to turn their minds to children who would not have a Christmas except for the Toys for Tots bike rides. I would like to take this time to invite everyone to a Toys for Tot benefit. It is going to be held December 5, 2009 at Rock City Lounge. This benefit is sponsored by the Wild Hearts SC. There is a cover charge. It is $5.00 plus a toy. Included in the $5.00 is a BBQ dinner with all the trimmings and let me tell you Big E can smoke some meat. There will be 50/50 drawings along with a raffle. There will also be live music and the band that will be playing is awesome. It is the NTO band. They were a popular band at Bike nights at the Hawg Diner. There will be drink specials all night long and jello shots are 4 for $5.00. The profit from this benefit will go to buy more toys. Rock City Lounge is located on Arch Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. So if you are in the area whether you live here or are just passing through join us for a night of fun that will benefit children in Arkansas.

Well the site has been up for one year as of about a week ago. It is not a real popular site but I do have a few regular visitors and I really appreciate you (you know who you are). I am still working on trying to provide you with regular articles and I hope the coming year will be much better. I want this site to be a great resource for all of the people out there who love to ride. I also need you to help make this a great community of riders, head on over to the forums and join and start topics and talk to each other, ask questions, and spread the word. There is also a place to upload all of your photos.

This year I had one contest and while it didn’t have many people join I am sure it will show a few people with a whole lot of miles. I may do another at the beginning of next year but I am going to have to pay the bills for this years contest first. That is another reason I need you to tell others about the site, the more visitors that I can get on here, the better I can make the site for you.

Last year at this time I had thought up what I thought would be a good name for a website. I had no idea how to build a website or even get started. I had a few guys who helped me out with a lot of information and technical help. The first guy was Dave over at 3D addiCt, he was a very big help from schooling me on hosting, where to get my domain name, to helping get the site up and running. He spent probably 48 or more man hours helping me with the site all for free. If you need help with graphics or websites head on over and hit him up. I am sure he will be affordable and do a great job.

The other guys that helped me out were Crash and ItsLasher over at BlazingPC. They both gave me great advice on the site, products to use, and just a lot of general setup stuff. If you need help with your computer or tech stuff just head on over there and ask them a question in the forums. I am sure they will welcome you.

One more guy that I would like to mention is a guy the call formed. He is a Marine that designed some of the graphics for the site. While they weren’t free they were cheap and he did a great job.

I also want to mention all of the guys and gals from SHAPE HDC, you will always be my brothers and sisters and I can’t wait to ride with you all again.

I just want to thank those guys and all of you that visit the site, without you this site would not be around or would have cost me a whole lot more than it did. I have probably spent a thousand hours this year working on the site, and while I will not be able to put as much time in this year (deployment coming up) it will be a better site.
