My dad came up this past weekend from Birmingham (Alabama) and we did a little riding and also visited the Open House that the local H-D dealer was hosting. They had some live band playing that didn’t sound too bad. They also had some free food and a few vendors were trying to hawk thier stuff. The most disappointing thing about it though is that I was hoping to take a Street Glide for a test ride and all they were offering was Buells and V-Rods. Now they had plenty of bikes in the show room but I guess they were trying to push sales for those two models.
Anyways, I saw a nice pan there. I wouldn’t mind having one someday.
After spending about 30 minutes there we went for a short little ride. We dodged a few clouds and were able to make it home dry just in time for me to put some Ribeyes on the grill for us.
All in all we had a good day and it was nice to have my bike back. This Wednesday I am going to put it into the shop and see what is wrong with it but it should be back in my hands before the weekend and the toy run at the local fairgrounds.
