Harley Davidson has declared the month of May Women Riders Month. There will be a series of events for women riders. There will also be a competition to enter into the Guinness Book of Records and this will be the most women trained during the first weekend of May. There are also going to be mentoring programs and local dealerships will be hosting Garage Parties. This is just so cool! It’s about time they did something special for women. There are so many more woman riders and woman that want to learn how to ride. I asked my granddaughter if she would ride behind me when I got my own bike and she said yes. So I asked her if was going to be a biker chick and she then told me only if she could wear the bikers boots and clothes. She is 10 and wants to be a fashion designer. But the funny part was when she told her mom and dad that grandma was going to take her on the bike to Hawaii. No idea where she got that from.
