Motorcycles and Women

Went to a bike show this weekend and it was also an erotic show, or at least that is what they are called here in Europe. The Bottom floor was what they were trying to pass off as a motorcycle show (there was only around 6 bikes there being judged). The Harley Dealership had more bikes there than what had been entered into the show. Some of the dealerships bike weren’t bad but mostly people were there just trying to sell bikes. There was a few vendors and only one guy had any parts. I guess some good deals could have been had if I would have had some money to spend but that is just they way the ball bounces. The top floor was where the erotic show was and it was one of those deals where they have a bunch of booths set up for vendors to sell the items of the trade and then they had a live shows going on all day. It was very crowded (of course) and few of the people were downstairs looking at the bikes. Our group went with about eleven bikes and fourteen people and we were the biggest organized group there by far (which isn’t saying much). We ended up all splitting up and leaving at separate times. I think me and the wife left around 4PM and went to a small town close to La Louviere where there is a rather large lock system on the canal and it pick up or lowers the boats in a big bucket a few hundred feet. This is nothing like what you would see on the Tennessee river at one of the locks and dams. It was a fairly interesting day, I guess the wife will be waiting to ride with me until I can adjust my shocks and maybe get a taller sissy bar for her on the Dyna. Maybe I can talk her into those progressive shocks now.
Total miles this weekend was fairly low. On Friday we hopped around to different towns, stopping to drink a beer and eye what the sun likes to bring out with it. It was a very relaxing day. The whole weekend was relaxing but I am looking forward to another 200-300 mile weekend soon. Hopefully we can pull together a decent trip that my broke ass can afford. I think the Belgium beer rally is coming up so that will be interesting.
